Accessibility statement
We fix documents for people who use screen readers, so this website has to work for them too.
Our standard
This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
How the site is built
- Each page has a skip link, labeled regions, one main heading and headings in order.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and the item in focus has a visible outline.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios: at least 4.5 to 1 for text and 3 to 1 for controls and focus outlines.
- Pages reflow at a width of 320 pixels and at 200 percent zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Every form field has a visible label. Error messages name the problem and are linked to the field they belong to.
- Drawings that carry information have a text description. Decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers.
- The site has no animation, autoplay media or time limits.
